GENERAL TERMS AND CONDITIONS AND THE HERO RACE RULES

The Hero Race is a hurdle race divided into categories.

General terms and conditions and the HERO RACE rules (hereinafter referred to as the ‘conditions’) apply to all race participants of the HERO RACE (hereinafter referred to as the ‘race’). Every race participant and any other participant or race visitor regardless of their role/post in the race or personal status must be acknowledged and follow these conditions (hereinafter referred to as the ‘participant’ or ‘athlete’). By using the word ‘participant’ we mean ‘athlete’ in the narrow sense and any other participant or race visitor in the broader sense if the conditions state clearly that it applies to all participants or visitors.

The organiser, Pierott, n.o. (hereinafter referred to as the ‘organizer’) reserves the right to amend these General Terms and Conditions and the HERO RACE rules.

It is not possible to register for the race, pay the entry fee and participate in the HERO RACE in case of disagreement with these conditions.

To participate in the HERO RACE, you must be in good physical shape, and fill out and sign the waiver and the official registration form. Another condition to participate in the HERO RACE is to agree with the General terms and conditions of the HERO RACE.

Race registration

You can sign up for the race via www.herorace.com. True information about the registered person must be provided during registration.

When registering minors for the race, the information about the registered person and their legal representatives must be true.

The participant is responsible for the veracity of the data provided and is obliged to check this data properly and on time. In the event of a change or addition to the data, the organizer must be informed immediately.

After successful registration, the participant will receive an email confirming the registration to the provided email address. The participant is obliged to keep this registration confirmation in electronic or printed form. This confirmation must be printed, brought with you, and handed in at the registration on the day of the race.

If the registered participant cannot participate in the race, they can transfer their registration to another person confirming that the new participant meets and agrees to the General Terms and Conditions of HERO RACE. Transfer to another participant is possible no later than 5 days before the race.

Registration for the race becomes valid only after paying the entry fee and crediting the entry fee to the organizer’s account. The registered person can participate in the race after proper registration and payment of the entry fee.

The registration fee payment

Payment can be made through the website at www.herorace.com.

Every participant in the HERO RACE race must properly complete registration, including all documents, and pay the registration fee.

Payment can be made by credit card or by transfer to the organizer’s bank account, at Tatra Banka, Inc. account number: SK81 1100 0000 0029 4608 2755.

Payment by bank transfer must be identifiable, and therefore, when transferring the fee to the account, it is necessary to include the information on the competitor’s name and surname, date of birth, and the name of the race for which they are registering in the message of the payment.

The payment for the entry fee must be credited to the bank account at least 2 days before the race.

The entry fee cannot be used for a race other than the one for which the registration was made and the entry fee was paid, with the exception stated in the section “CANCELATION OF RACE, REFUND OF THE ENTRY FEE”.

The organizer is not a taxpayer.

In the case of international payments, you may be charged extra bank fees, which the sender, the person making the payment, is responsible for.

The athletes express their agreement to the General Terms and Conditions and the HERO RACE rules by the official registration and paying the registration fee.
