Every athlete starts off the track individually. Athletes start individually in timed distances, one athlete in approximately every 30 seconds. Teams start individually in timed distances, approximately every minute.

You may not skip a hurdle. If you refuse or can’t overcome a hurdle, you must do 20 burpees, and only after that, you may continue the race.

A real hero can overcome any kind of obstacle. If you are a hero-amateur, for now, do 20 burpees and keep running. Every hero was once a zero, not a big deal. It is just a race, it is about overcoming yourself. The mere fact you stand on the start line deserves applause.

– That’s the reason why this race is not suitable for you. The race is suitable for swimmers only since water is a part of the race.

If there are water hurdles that require swimming, talk to the referee about the hurdle. Non-swimmers can skip the swimming hurdle and do a set of 20 burpees.
